As much as 3 to 5 inches of rain have fallen across parts of Mount Pleasant, Isle of Palms and surrounding areas since just before 1 PM. While rainfall rates are lowering, moderate to locally heavy rainfall will persist and the risk for additional flash flooding continues. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.
