  Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 
  NM...

At 841 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms, 
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and frequent cloud to 
sea lightning. This thunderstorm was located along the waters near 
Bald Head Island, moving east at 20 knots. Additional thunderstorms 
are likely across portions of the coastal waters today.

Locations impacted include...
Fort Fisher, 10 Mile Boxcars, Cape Fear Sea Buoy, 10 Mile Rocks, Kure
Beach Point, School House Reef, Kure Beach, Sheepshead Rock, Wr2,
Wr4, Dredge Wreck, Caswell Beach, and Bald Head Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
