...THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN LAKE ONTARIO...

The areas affected include...  
Lake Ontario from the Niagara River to Hamlin Beach offshore to the 
international border...

At 719 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of thunderstorms, 
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms 
were located 11 nm northeast of Fort Niagara, moving east at 30 
knots.

Locations impacted include...
Youngstown, Wilson, Sunset Beach, Thirty Mile Point, and Olcott.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.
