...THUNDERSTORM WITH GUSTY WINDS OVER GULF WATERS...

The areas affected include...
Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and
beyond 5 fathoms...

At 731 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a 
thunderstorm over the extreme southeastern Gulf of America, capable 
of producing wind gusts near 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located 
11 nm east of P Tower, moving north at 20 knots.

The thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
