The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  South central Kendall County in south central Texas...
  Northwestern Bexar County in south central Texas...
  West central Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 830 AM CDT.

* At 749 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Shavano Park, or 9 miles northwest of San Antonio
  Int Airport, moving north at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  San Antonio, Shavano Park, Cross Mountain, The Dominion, and Leon 
  Springs around 755 AM CDT.
  Fair Oaks Ranch around 805 AM CDT.
  Timberwood Park around 810 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Fiesta
Texas, Specht Store, Anhalt, and Scenic Oaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
