At 1155 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from 13 nm south of Caillou Bay to 11 nm east of Ship Shoal 198 to near Eugene Island 257, moving east at 40 knots. Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes.
