These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 44 nm southeast of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River to 31 nm southeast of Louisiana Offshore Oil Port to Ship Shoal 295. The thunderstorm was nearly stationary. Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this activity passes. Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity.
