FLORIDA FROM NEAR CAY SAL BANK...

The areas affected include...
Straits of Florida from Craig Key to west end of Seven Mile Bridge 20
to 60 nm out...

At 1147 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a 
strong thunderstorm, capable of producing wind gusts 30 to near 34 
knots. This thunderstorm was located 12 nm southwest of Elbow Cay, 
moving northwest at 20 knots.

The strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.
