At 341 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending from 11 nm east of Chandeleur Sound to 30 nm south of Ship Island to 12 nm east of Breton Sound, moving south at 10 knots.
