  Fire Island Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 60 nm...

At 308 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a 
line extending from 14 nm S of Moriches Inlet to 22 nm NE of Buoy 
44025, moving NE at 25 kt. 

These thunderstorms will remain over the open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect lightning strikes and heavy downpours.
