  Sandy Hook NJ to Fire Island Inlet NY out 20 nm...

At 113 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
near Rockaway Inlet, moving E at 25 kt. 

The thunderstorm will remain over the open waters. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes.
