At 942 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 19 nm west of Pentwater Pier Heads to near Little
Sable Point Light, moving east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

At 855 PM CDT, a buoy near McQuade Harbor reported strong 
thunderstorms, producing winds to around 30 knots. These 
thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 nm north of 
Sand Island to 8 nm southeast of Stoney Point, moving east at 20 
knots.

Locations impacted include...
Ironwood Island, Basswood Island, Sand Island, Stockton Island,
Devils Island, Manitou Island, Cat Island, North Twin Island,
Herbster, Meyers Beach, York Island, Eagle Island, La Pointe, Port
Wing Harbor, Apostle Islands National Lake Shore, Outer Island, Rocky
Island, Raspberry Island, Oak Island, and Siskwit Bay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
