...TAKU RIVER GLACIAL LAKE OUTBURST ONGOING WITH POSSIBLE DEBRIS
IN WATER WITHIN STEPHENS PASSAGE...

A glacier outburst is currently ongoing on the Taku River. As a 
result of the release, debris in the water is possible on the Taku
River, extending down Taku Inlet, & into Stephens Passage, 
particularly for Wednesday. Furthermore, the water temperature 
near the Taku River and into Stephens Passage may be much colder 
than normal, possibly by more than 10 degrees. Typically a release
of this type along the Taku River lasts from 1 to 3 days. The 
National Weather Service and Alaska River Forecast Center will 
continue to monitor conditions going forward and update this 
statement as necessary.

For the following areas...
  Lake Ontario from Thirty Mile Point to Fair Haven...

At 155 AM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 nm northeast of Sodus Bay to 9 nm northwest of
Sunset Beach, moving south at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Ontario Beach, Ontario On The Lake, Hamlin Beach, Sunset Beach, Sodus
Bay, Irondequoit Bay, and Fair Haven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
