...A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS APPROACHING GRAND TRAVERSE BAY... The 
areas affected include...  Grand Traverse Bay south of a line Grand 
Traverse Light to Norwood   MI...

At 120 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, 
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This 
cluster of storms was located near Suttons Bay, or near Leland, 
moving east at 25 knots.

The thunderstorms will be near...  Traverse City, Elk Rapids, Old 
Mission Lighthouse, and Suttons Bay   around 125 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.

A special marine warning may eventually be required if storms 
strengthen. Boaters should consider heading for shore before these 
storms arrive.
