  Canal MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian border including Isle
  Royale National Park...

* Until noon EDT.

* At 1105 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 nm south of
  The Western Lake Superior Buoy, moving northeast at 25 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in 
           structural damage.

* The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
