HOMME...DOUGLAS...WESTERN HANSON AND HUTCHINSON COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE
AT 315 AM CDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 AM CDT for
south central and southeastern South Dakota.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
portions of Davison, Hanson, Hutchinson and Bon Homme Counties until 
4 AM CDT.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 400 AM CDT
FOR NORTHERN BON HOMME...MCCOOK...NORTHERN YANKTON...HANSON...WESTERN
TURNER AND HUTCHINSON COUNTIES...

At 333 AM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms were located 
roughly along a line extending from near Salem to near Dolton to 
near Avon, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Parkston, Tyndall, Parker, Lake Vermillion State Recreation Area,
Salem, Freeman, Scotland, Marion, Canistota, Tripp, Alexandria,
Menno, Avon, Bridgewater, Montrose, Emery, Irene, Mayfield, Kaylor,
and Monroe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move to a shelter, inside a strong building and away from
windows.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
