At 155 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This
cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along a line extending
from 6 nm southwest of Petit Bois Pass to 27 nm southeast of
Chandeleur Sound, moving southeast at 15 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.

This cluster of strong thunderstorms will likely produce winds to 
around 30 knots, and could pose a serious hazard for boaters. A 
special marine warning may eventually be required. Boaters should 
consider heading for shore before these storms arrive.
