At 1251 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms
were located along a line extending from 29 nm south of Horn Island
to 8 nm south of Chandeleur Sound, moving southwest at 5 knots.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.
