...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out
20 NM...
St. Andrews Bay Waterways...

At 815 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 nm east of Panama City Beach to 10 nm southeast of
Highway 331 Bridge to 6 nm southwest of Santa Rosa Beach, moving
southeast at 15 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots...suddenly higher 
         waves...frequent lightning...and heavy downpours. Make sure 
         all on board are wearing life jackets.

Locations impacted include...
Panama City Beach and Laguna Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

The areas affected include...
  Coastal waters from Cape Fear NC to Little River Inlet SC out 20 
  NM...
  Coastal waters from Surf City to Cape Fear NC out 20 nm...
  Waters from Surf City NC to Little River Inlet SC from 20 to 60 
  NM...

At 946 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots and small hail. This
thunderstorm was located near Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, moving east at
20 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Cape Fear Knuckle Buoy, Mount Dirfy's Wreck, and Raritan Wreck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes. If caught on the open water,
prepare for deteriorating conditions. Make sure you and your crew are
wearing properly fitted life jackets.
