...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal Waters from Port Fourchon LA to Lower Atchafalaya River LA
out 20 nm...
Terrebonne Bay...

At 1149 PM CDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms capable of
producing waterspouts were located near Caillou Bay, moving northeast
at 20 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts in excess of 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage 
         vessels and oil rigs...and create suddenly higher waves. 
         Boats could suffer significant structural damage in high 
         winds. Small craft could capsize in suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Timbalier Bay, Caillou Bay, Terrebonne Bay, Isle Derniers, and
Timbalier Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 600 AM CDT for southeastern
Louisiana...and the adjacent coastal waters.

Dangerous high winds, waterspouts and suddenly higher waves are
expected! Boaters should avoid waterspouts and never navigate near
them.

Waterspouts can move onshore as a torando! Seek shelter in a sturdy
building or move to safe harbor immediately!

Frequent lightning is occurring with these storms. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
