At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a cluster of strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots and weak
waterspouts. This cluster of thunderstorms is generally located along
a line extending from 8 nm northwest of Manchac to near Lake
Maurepas, moving northeast at 25 knots.

Mariners can expect widespread gusty winds to around 30 knots, higher
waves and dangerous lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe
harbor immediately until this activity passes.

Brief, weak waterspouts are possible with this activity. Remain on
alert in case warnings are issued for waterspout development.

of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
26 nm east of Amelia City, or 37 nm southeast of St. Simons Island,
moving northeast at 25 knots.
