FOR NORTHEASTERN CHEROKEE AND BUENA VISTA COUNTIES...

At 336 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles north of
Alta, or 10 miles northwest of Storm Lake, moving east at 60 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect damage 
         to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles.

This severe storm will be near...
  Storm Lake, Alta, and Truesdale around 340 AM CDT.
  Albert City around 345 AM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include
Newell.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL CHEROKEE AND
BUENA VISTA COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 400 AM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 AM CDT for
northwestern Iowa.
