At 1236 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 nm north of New Buffalo to 7 nm west of Gary, moving
east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.
