At 216 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 16 nm northeast of 
Diamond Shoals, moving east at 10 knots. Additional strong storms 
are moving across the warned area.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and small hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Diamond Shoals and Monitor Marine Sanctuary.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
