The thunderstorm has weakened and moved out of the warned area and 
no longer poses a significant threat to boaters.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
Illinois...northwestern Indiana...and the adjacent waters of Lake
Michigan.

For the following areas...

  Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City...

At 211 PM CDT, a strong thunderstorm and associated outflow was 
located over Indiana Harbor, moving east at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
         suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Indiana Harbor, Calumet Harbor, Burns Harbor, Marina Shores at Dune
Harbor, and Hammond Marina.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for northeastern
Illinois...northwestern Indiana...and the adjacent waters of Lake
Michigan.

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.

...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM APPROACHING THE WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Chesapeake Bay from Pooles Island to Sandy Point MD...
  Chesapeake Bay from Sandy Point to North Beach MD...
  Chester River to Queenstown MD...
  Eastern Bay...

At 355 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. This thunderstorm was located
over Mayo, moving east at 20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
