...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 AM CDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN PORTAGE AND CENTRAL WOOD COUNTIES...

At 806 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from 8
miles east of Marshfield to near Wisconsin Rapids, or along a line
from 22 miles northwest of Wisconsin Rapids to near Wisconsin Rapids,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

This severe thunderstorm will be near...
  Wisconsin Rapids around 810 AM CDT. Stevens Point and Whiting
  around 825 AM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm include Blenker,
Sherry, Auburndale, Vesper, Arpin, Hewitt, Rudolph, Milladore, Biron
and Junction City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. These storms are capable of producing damaging winds and
large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
