...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 AM CDT THIS 
MORNING FOR WESTERN CROSBY, SOUTHEASTERN LUBBOCK AND NORTH CENTRAL 
LYNN COUNTIES...

At 713 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
thunderstorms producing moderate rain across the warned area. Up to 
0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 
0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is 
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Slaton, Ransom Canyon, Buffalo Springs and New Home.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be alert for water over roads and in poor drainage areas. Outer 
lanes of streets typically flood first. Slow down and avoid driving 
through flooding.

MORNING FOR SOUTHERN LUBBOCK AND NORTHERN LYNN COUNTIES...

At 732 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated 
showers producing moderate rain across the warned area. Up to 1.2 
inches of rain have fallen in south Lubbock near the South Loop and 
University Avenue. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.3 inches are 
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by showers.
